What is surrdadaism? I blended the words 'surrealism' and 'dadaism' to define my style of painting. I like to be quirky and not take my designs too realistic. I enjoy having fun creating something I haven't seen before.
I started playing around with watercolors last summer and began an art journal. From there, I continued to experiment with different mediums, paper, lettering, and tearing out magazine pages.
I developed a style that I feel represents me and my faith. I can only do my art because of the gift given to me by my Heavenly Father. I prayed for a way to help my husband financially, and here I am.
I pray my art will inspire you.
I truly believe my hand is guided by my Lord and Savior. I listen to worship music when I am
creating and I get lost for hours in pure JOY. I feel like a kid who is pleasing her father.
I don't always have a plan, but I do love the end result.
